Chris Barg – Stille Plage EP (ZEIT005)

The next four Zeitnot releases are coming in thick and fast. ZEIT005 is courtesy of Chris Barg aka Tilo Manig from 90s Italian Electro outfit analogue audio association.

Chris Barg’s Stille Plage EP takes the form of a gritty, rough and ready, electro 5-tracker. Kicking straight off with cerebral acid excursion ‘Exact 303 Meter’ and taking a dive into spiky synth territory across ‘Stille Plage’ and ‘Pauschal23’. ‘Fracking Fluid’, while slightly less dance-floor oriented, makes use of some amazingly catchy lilting melodies drenched in melancholy, while the closer of the record sees ‘Track 17’ performing some more synth acrobatics in a militant siren style.

Zeitnot is a label owned and operated by Jordan Carnall – Seven Hills Records co-founder and London DJ. With a focus on releasing on hand stamped white label vinyl. Zeitnot is predominantly a club-orientated label. Dark room and smoke machine mandatory.
