Donnie Cosmo is next up on Physical Education. The Colombian maestro’s Signs Of Life EP leaves few prisoners in its wake, taking us on a riotous journey through the tech house sound we know and love.

And where better to start than the title track – a rampant, spaced-out slice of exquisite dance music. From four-four drum loops to whip-like kick-hat combos, we soon venture into similarly charged realms on Pump The Power, as acid-like tendrils drive the beat along.

Driving and infectious, it’s a welcome precursor to Gateway, the penultimate cut and a no-nonsense foray into heads down, hands up territory. Wholesome bass tones collide throughout, prepping us for the glitchy, tech-driven closing saga that is: The Xperiment.
