Kicking off 2025, the next WDG release welcomes the sounds of self confessed stateside Techno poser Troy Anderson to the imprint. A core part of the much treasured Down Low crew from Texas, he has previously released some mightily excellent records as Cityboy and Waverider way back when, both of which were recently re-issued on We’re Going Back. As DFD, Anderson first appeared on Down Low Music compilation ‘Satellite Cities’ back in 2001. However, it took until 2024 for his first full EP to materialize. A somehow wonderful glitch in time, DFD productions fit easily into the early 00s canon of purist machine made magic, harboring a timeless resonance that emanates equally from a future dimension. Bringing an all important touch of human feeling to his work that is as essential as it’s comes.
