On the east coast of Sweden, next to the Baltic Sea inlet of Bråviken, between deep forests and cliffs to the north and plains and farmland to the south, lies the city of Norrköping. This place has been through a lot. Days of industrial glory were followed by decline and a slow recovery that still goes on today. In between these forests and plains, between industrial heritage and modern transformation, there’s plenty of inspiration and food for thought for a generation of electronic musicians.

This compilation has been put together to celebrate all the great talent of this city, showcasing producers who may or may not be born in or currently living in Norrköping, but who all took their first important steps as artists here.
