A thread of electro runs further throughout the Zeitnot series on ZEIT006, Quadratschulz’s vibrant and playful melodies dance back and forth across 4 tracks all well-suited for the dancefloor. An anthemic ‘Delayed Sleep-Phase Syndrome’ unfurls itself into higher euphoric feelings. ‘Ambiance Brutale’ takes a deeper, more understated approach with flecks of acid, while sparkling arpeggios dance around the robotic chants of ‘Maschinen’. A moody bassline is contrasted with a colourful key-timbred melody on ‘EOL’ in an obscure sounding game of call and response.

Zeitnot is a label owned and operated by Jordan Carnall – Seven Hills Records co-founder and London DJ. With a focus on releasing on hand stamped white label vinyl. Zeitnot is predominantly a club-orientated label. Dark room and smoke machine mandatory.
